Save money on Domains and Hosting Costs

I said in the first ‘My Goals’ post that I had a limited budget to get this thing off the ground, so I’m always on the look-out to save a few pennies. The obvious starting points are with domains and hosting. I’m using GoDaddy just because it is easy for me. Here is a link to GoDaddy coupons page.

I’m a bit of a Microsoft techie by heart, but there’s so much free stuff out there for php that it just makes sense to use that instead (Wordpress is a fine example). I’ve never gone for anything but Microsoft hosting before, but after a bit of research I went for Hostgator. I said I got hosting for one month using a coupon and I used this link.

I guess there’s similar deals for other internet companies, so it’s worth having a look around for a bargain.
